John Plumtree isn’t likely to be envious about much in the Lions’ setup, but as his Sharks charges contemplate the ignominy of dwelling in the cellar of the URC log, he has taken note of his weekend opponents’ cohesion.  

The forthright former All Blacks assistant coach, back in Durban for a second stint, last week revealed the awkward truth plaguing his setup when he remarked that “we can’t wait for the Springboks to come and save us every time”.
