WATCH: 2023 BRICS Summit gets underway
JOHANNESBURG – The 2023 BRICS Summit kicks off in Johannesburg, South Africa.
As leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa come together for the annual BRICS Summit, there’s little doubt that the grouping has taken on new significance internationally.
The block accounts for 26 percent of global GDP and is predicted to reshape the world economy by 2030.
Leaders who are not part of the Brics bloc are also attending the summit.
