“Any time you have bad body language from a leader like that, other guys see it, and it’s not good,” one veteran told Marcus Hayes of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Brown was visibly frustrated near the end of Philadelphia’s 35-31 upset loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. He finished with four catches for 53 yards and chose not to speak to reporters after the game, the second straight week that he’s declined to be interviewed.

“I’m not about to talk. It ain’t nothing to say,” Brown said.

When asked to clarify the source of his dissatisfaction, Brown told media members, “It ain’t directed toward y’all.”

Hayes noted that “according to teammates,” Brown’s frustration is “directed toward the coaching staff.”

Brown ranks third in the NFL with 1,447 receiving yards on 105 receptions with seven touchdowns. Despite his dominance, the Eagles are in a late-season slump where they’ve lost four of their last five games.

Philadelphia initially looked like the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl for the second straight year, but now it looks like the team could be in for an early exit from the playoffs.

The Eagles will try to get back on track in their season finale against the New York Giants on Sunday.
