Sandile Mthethwa could leave Orlando Pirates on loan

Orlando Pirates are considering sending Sandile Mthethwa on loan in the January transfer window with a number of potential suitors wanting the defender’s services, KickOff has gathered.

Mthethwa is among players who have been struggling with game time at Pirates including Bienvenu Eva Nga, Lesedi Kapinga, Souaibou Marou, and Thabiso Sesane this season.

Eva Nga has been linked with a move to either Chippa United or Richards Bay in January.

The central defender is yet to make an appearance in the league during 2023/24 campaign but did feature in the MTN 8 once and twice in the CAF Champions League.

According to a source close to Orlando Pirates, Mthethwa could go on loan either to TS Galaxy or SuperSport United during the current transfer window period.

“There is a possibility of Mthethwa going to TS Galaxy on loan this January,” the source revealed to KickOff.
