Samsung is set to strengthen its entry Galaxy A series portfolio with the Galaxy A15 series and Galaxy A25, the former will arrive in 4G and 5G variants, but what makes them really interesting is that they will all come equipped with beautiful Super AMOLED displays that has received Eye-Care Certification from SGS.

Let’s start off with the Galaxy A15 series, the 4G and 5G variants are identical in terms of design, featuring 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ displays, only the 5G variant’s display has 90Hz refresh rate.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A15 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G99 chipset paired to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Galaxy A15 5G is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired to the same storage configuration, both phones support MicroSD storage expansion up to 1TB.

Camera setup is similar between the two with a 50MP main, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens, while the front camera is a 13MP shooter, they come with a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging, and lastly, these phones come with 4 years of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.

The Galaxy A25 5G is essentially a downgraded Galaxy A53, though it isn’t IP67 water and dust resistant, it is powered by the very same Exynos 1280 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, it has a 6.5-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz and pushes 1200nits of peak brightness.

The phone comes with stereo speakers and supports Dolby Atmos audio, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio which the Galaxy A53 doesn’t have.

In terms of cameras, you get a 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro cameras, and all thanks to the Exynos 1280, the main camera gets to shoot 4K videos at 30 fps. The front camera however is the same 13MP shooter as the Galaxy A15 series and only takes 1080p videos.

A 5000mAh battery powers the phone and it supports 25W fast charging, and as usual, you get 4 years of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.

While these phones are already shown on Samsung Malaysia’s website, no pricing and availability has been revealed yet but we will be sure to update this space when we get the info.

UPDATE 31/12/2023: The Galaxy A15 series is set to retail for RM999 for the 4G version and RM1199 for the 5G version, while the Galaxy A25 5G will retail for RM1299.
