Warm to hot temperatures with isolated showers and thundershowers for Saturday’s weather.

Partly cloudy conditions and warm to hot temperatures with isolated showers and thundershowers are forecast for some parts of the country, according to the South African Weather Service.

Gauteng will be partly cloudy with warm temperatures, isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

Morning fog patches along the escarpment are expected for Mpumalanga. Otherwise, partly cloudy conditions and cool to warm temperatures with isolated showers and thundershowers are forecast, except in the Lowveld.

Limpopo will experience morning fog patches along the southern escarpment. Otherwise, cloudy conditions and cool to warm temperatures with isolated showers and thundershowers are expected, except for the extreme north and north-east of the province.

Fine and warm to hot temperatures are forecast for North West, becoming partly cloudy by afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The Free State will have fine with warm to hot conditions, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the south-west of the province.

Cloudy conditions with morning fog along the coast is expected in the Northern Cape. Otherwise, fine and hot to very hot temperatures are forecast, becoming partly cloudy by afternoon in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be a light to moderate north-westerly to westerly.

The Western Cape is expected to be cloudy with drizzle in the west and south-west in the morning. Otherwise, partly cloudy and cool to warm conditions but fine and hot to very hot temperatures are expected in the east and central interior of the province.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh north-westerly but south-westerly along the south coast, becoming a light westerly in the east during the evening.

The expected UVB sunburn index is extreme.

Cloudy conditions with fog patches in the south is initially forecast for the western half of the Eastern Cape. Otherwise, fine and warm to hot temperatures are expected, with partly cloudy conditions along the province’s coast.

Very hot temperatures are expected in places in the north-western interior.

The wind along the coast will be a fresh south-westerly.

The eastern half of the province will experience fine and warm to hot temperatures, becoming partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers in the eastern interior. It will become cloudy with some drizzle along the Wild Coast.

The wind along the coast will be a fresh to strong north-easterly, becoming a moderate to fresh south-westerly during the morning.

KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog patches in places over the interior. Otherwise, partly cloudy conditions and warm to hot temperatures are forecast. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the west of the province.

The wind along the coast will be a moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming a moderate south-westerly in the extreme south by evening.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.
