Heinie Werth has been appointed CEO of SanlamAllianz JV.

Sanlam veteran Heinie Werth has been appointed CEO of SanlamAllianz JV, the Pan-African insurance business the two groups have established to build new market share on the rest of the African continent.

Werth, who has been a member of the group’s board since 2016, will step down from the Sanlam and Sanlam Life boards as an executive director with effect from 31 December 2023 to focus on management of the joint venture between Sanlam and Allianz.
