Joburg fire | 62 bodies burnt beyond recognition

JOHANNESBURG – Family members faced a daunting journey navigating through various mortuaries as they identify their loved ones.
A total of 74 people died in the fire in a Joburg CBD building in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Forensic Pathology Services says only 12 of the bodies can be positively identified.
The remaining 62 bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
