The US President Donald Trump is quite a controversial leader, with extreme views on women, immigrants, homosexuals and South Africa.

HINNEWS takes a look at some of the things Donald Trump has said about South Africa in the past.

  • After former president Nelson Mandela died in 2013, President Trump said that South Africa is a crime-ridden mess that is just waiting to explode.

 

  •  President Trump however, expressed his love for Nelson Mandela but not SA.

 

 

  •  Last two years (2015) Trump continued to bash South Africa saying it’s a total mess.

 

  •  During the Oscar Pistorius trial in 2014, Trump referred to Judge Thokozile Masipa as a total moron, likening the case to O.J Simpson’s trial.
