The political cloud is getting charged following the smear sexual scandal orchestrated to oust the incumbent deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa, through calls for his immediate resignation. Strong negotiations and confidential  political alliance is now underway.

This time it seems complicated and complex. But the unusual call is for the outspoken and articular DA leader to be the  running mate of Ramaphosa in 2019 presidential election.

According to an aide who spoke on the condition of anonymity, The deputy president has a very high opinion about the Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane. And is strongly considering him as a running mate for 2019 presidential elections. But it is still early to suggest who amongst the duo will leave his party or whether it is going to be on the basis of a coalition.

The anonymous aide stated that since a strong factions within the crisis riddled ANC was supporting Dlamini-Zuma, Maimane’s huge followership would be a huge boost and asset to secure the peoples mandate .

But in a reaction to the political imbroglio making headlines,  Maimane  observed that the ANC party was already so infected, riddled with corruption that Cyril Ramaphosa should leave the governing party now. He should lead a breakaway ahead of the December conference.

Maimane said that people of like minds should work together, not necessarily in the same political party,
