The murky water of politics is heavily taking a toll on Cyril Ramaphosa, while attention is been diverted from President Jacob Zuma as well as his open support for former wife and former AU chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
Deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa and his wife will have to be strong as the ANC elective conference edges closer.
This is according to EFF leader Julius Malema following allegations contained in leaked questions purportedly sent to the deputy president by the Sunday Independent newspaper — that he was a blesser for several young women he was allegedly in relationships with.
The allegations were based on emails from Ramaphosa’s private Gmail accounts.
Malema believes that these are dirty tricks tricks used to try and deter Ramaphosa from his presidential campaign.
Ramaphosa is running for the ANC presidency and ultimately that of the country against other hopefuls including Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
“Ramaphosa, his wife & supporters will have to be extremely strong especially as they move closer to the conference, dirty tricks on steroids,” Malema noted.
Malema was not immediately available for further comment.
ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu has also come out in support of the deputy president.
