According to reports, Dineo Cyclone has now been downgraded to tropical storm after hitting Mozambique and there is every chances that it will hit some parts of South Africa.
Reports say it will surely be seen in some parts of KZN ,Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The KZN disaster management are leaving no stone on-turned as they prepare for what is to come ( If it eventually comes).
Co-operative governance and traditional affairs MEC Nomusa Dube while speaking to reporters in Durban said, “We want to emphasizes that this is not a panic mode.”
“We are concentrating more resources on human support in the Northern parts of our province.”
Cyclone Dineo hit the Mozambican coast on Wednesday. At landfall, heavy rain and gale force winds of up to 130 kilometers ripped through Inhambane.
