The new Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has been called out several times since her appointment as head of the agency.

She has been accused of siding with President Zuma. Well its seems like things may not be as they looked like before since she has just said that her office has sought legal advice to oppose President Jacob Zuma’s application to review the State of Capture report.

“Yes I have lodged a notice of intention to oppose the president’s application… as this is a complex matter hence I have sought legal counsel that will guide us in pursuing the matter,” Mkhwebane said.
