The culprit behind the threatening messages to ANC MP Makhosi Khoza and  several ministers has been reviled  today to be a “troubled minor”.

Police minister Fikile Mbalula  made this revelation at Umlazi’s Glebelands Hostel Durban

He said the the 17 year old girl is linked with 12 unregistered SIM card that she used in threateing seven members of the national assembly.

The threatening calls and messages were extensively traced  to Cape Town, after series of investigations including interviewing the girls mother and others they admitted to her misdeed.

“The person who has been threatening Dr Makhosi Khoza is a minor female, 17-year-old Grade 10 pupil at a high school in Gugulethu, Cape Town. Twelve cellular phone numbers used to threaten people were successfully traced to her and her mother.” Mbalula said.

Minister Dlodlo one of the threatened minister has  filed a case of intimidation against the teenager.

“Minister Dlodlo was threatened in a similar modus operandi in July 2017. There is an additional investigation in Cape Town central where the victim even approached the court to interdict the minor female,”

Evidence exposed that the minor is linked to DA based on the “information posted on social networks” but there was no evidence that she was a member.
