The Gupta family is an Indian-South African business family whose most notable members are the brothers Ajay, Atul, Rajesh “Tony” Gupta as well as Atul Gupta’s nephew Varun Gupta. They are controversial for their close relationship with South African president Jacob Zuma.

President Jacob Zuma is on it again. There is a strong unconfirmed media reports making serious waves all over SA that the president is now planning to swear in two Gupta brother as members of parliament.

Yesterday, the country was also shocked by calls that came from Dlamini Zuma’s camp. Nkosazana Dlamini- Zuma’s camp yesterday nominated Atul Gupta as 2019 Deputy Presidential aspirant.

A large number of South Africans are alleging that the State has been captured by the rich controversial Gupta family. But the President seems not to be moved by some of his people’s cries.

After Brian Molefe was implicated in Thuli Mondensela state capture report, pres. Zuma swore him in as an MP.

Now, the two Gupta brothers will now be honorable memebers of SA parliament if the president go on with his plan.

Ajay and Rajash Gupta have been allegedly accused by some South Africans of having access to the Union Building and they will now enjoy whatever benefits MPs have.

The President finally revealed his reason for wanting to make them MPs.

”There names always come up in this parliament, maybe they will answer some of your question that you keep on asking me about them,” he concluded.
