An alleged University of Cape Town (UCT) serial rapist is due to make his first court appearance in the Western Cape High Court on Friday.
The case was transferred to the court for trial from the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court.
Patrick Hlomane, 35, faces charges of rape, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstance and kidnapping.
Patrick allegedly attacked three women near Rhodes Memorial since November last year.
He is currently in custody at Pollsmoor Prison. He was found hiding on the slopes of Table Mountain earlier this year.
