Africa’s richest man and the owner of the largest cement company in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has come out to announce that he has shown interest in taking over ownership and the entire share capital of the biggest cement company in South Africa, PPC Limited.
The interest was relayed in a statement signed by the secretary to Dangote cement, Mahmud Kazaure, along side the board of directors at Dangote cement which is chair-maned by , Alh. Dangote to the south African firm to acquire its share capital.
It should be noted that discussions on acquisition of the south African largest cement company is still in progress.

It was further revealed that PPC the south African largest cement company, began production in 1892, she produces and supplies cement and related products in south Africa. She has factories in other African countries, which includes, Botswana, Rwanda, Democratic of Congo, Zimbabwe and among others.
She has an annual capacity of 11.5 million tonnes of cement products.
It was also revealed PPC, the south African largest company has been on the forefront in the development of South Africa, as it has produce cement for most South Africa’s notable projects.
