Most Nigerian celebrities lost their fathers not long after they became celebrities and it has been a bad loss to them.

5. Olamide Adedeji – ( Olamide Baddo )
Olamide, popularly called Olamide Baddo, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist from Bariga, Lagos State. He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue.
He lost his father to the cold hands of death on November 26, 2015. Although the cause of death remains unknown. The YBNL rapstar became very known after the death of his dad.
4. Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel – ( Kiss Daniel )
Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel, known as Kiss Daniel, is a Nigerian recording artist, performer and entertainer best known for his chart-topping single “Woju”. He is currently signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment.
Kiss Daniel lost his dad May 9, 2015 which was just few days to his 21st birthday.
3. Sidney Onoriode Esiri – ( Dr Sid )
Sidney Onoriode Esiri, known commonly as, Dr SID is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and dentist, who is a descent of Delta state raised in Lagos. He is currently signed to Mavin Records.
On February 19, 2013 Dr Sid lost his father Chief Justus Esiri, a veteran actor to the cold hands of death. He became very popular after hi father’s death.
2. Yemi Eberechi Alade – ( Yemi Alade )
Yemi Eberechi Alade, simply known as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian afropop singer. She gained prominence after winning the Peak Talent Show in 2009, and is best known for her hit single “Johnny”.
Yemi Alade lost her father January 16, 2015 after she also became popular.

Chidinma Ekile, popularly known by her stage name Chidinma, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, recording artist and stage performer. In 2010, she rose to stardom after winning the third season of MTN Project Fame West Africa.
Chidinma Ekile lost her dad, James Ekile after a brief illness on December 9, 2014.
