According to media reports, A CHOLERA-prone state in southern Kenya has banned feasting during funerals and weddings to curb the escalation of the outbreak.

The death toll in the Tana River county has risen to four in recent days, prompting the public health department to impose the ban.

Nicholas Mwenda, Tana Delta sub-county medical officer, said poor hygiene was worsening the spread of the disease.
