Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela believes Pitso Mosimane is “desperate” to win the Telkom Knockout trophy based on what he’s seen lately.
“Two good local coaches, two good teams playing a different kind of football. Eric is clear on how he wants to play and coach Pitso as well,” Komphela said.
“I think he is tired of going on and on because it’s killing his schedule for Africa, that he must be in the Telkom, Absa Premiership and CAF football.
“He said he cannot be in the Telkom just the sake of it, he must win it, so that gives you an indication how desperate he is.
“We saw what [team] he played against Stellenbosch FC, he had most of his regulars out and it worked for him.
“So even Eric will want to say ‘listen, this is at Moses Mabhida Stadium and we are there and in the final’ so it’s anybody’s game.”
