The Gauteng government is said to hold a media briefing on Today in regards to the sale of a multimillion-rand mansion which was meant to house the premier of the province.

The house has been put out there for sale and is being auctioned for around R9-million.  The property was bought by the provincial government from a French businessman back in 2004 for R11.4-million. With an additional R4-million spent on renovations and repairing “structural defects”.
