President Jacob Zuma seems to be warming himself back into the hearts of South African critics and opposition, in view of the renaming of the well refurbished humanitarian facility for the less fortunate in South Africa.
The country’s leader is attending the renaming of the newly revamped Marabastad Refugee Reception Centre.
The centre will be renamed after struggle stalwart and retired Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, and will officially be known as the Desmond Tutu Refugee Reception centre.
The center is projected to give adequate care and reprieve to refugees suffering from displacement and other associated problems of migration.
The event is going on live in Pretoria, more updates shortly.
