We have reasons to believe that Dr Sethlomamaru Isaac Dintwe may be the next Inspector General of Intelligence. Since the Parliament’s joint standing committee on intelligence has recommended him.
The position has been without a leader since 2015 when Faith Radebe’s term of office ended. The Dr was one of 10 shortlisted candidates in the committee’s fourth attempt to fill the position.
In its report, which was published in Parliament’s Announcements, Tablings and Committee reports on Thursday. the committee said that;
“The Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence, therefore, unanimously nominates him for consideration by the National Assembly, for recommendation to the President for appointment as the Inspector General of Intelligence.”
