Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Swiss-based luxury-goods company, Richemont Johann Rupert has threatened to expose his relationship with EFF leader Julius Malema, if he continues telling lies about him.
Speaking at the 2016 Sunday Times Top 100 Companies Awards in Sandton on Tuesday night, the business mogul beseeched Malema to stop telling lies against him, else he will tell the world that he [Johann] gives him money.
Rupert said he’s aware Malema has been telling a lot of lies about him; adding that the opposition party leader’s aim is to pull him down from the top with his irrelevant speeches. He admitted that he has been Malema’s sponsor for long; regardless of the fact that he has never met him.
“…So stop lying about me and I won’t lie about our relationship. I’ve never met you but I promise you too (sic) can play the game,” Rupert warned Juju.
In September, Malema launched a scathing attack on Rupert; accusing him and other “agents of white capital” of capturing most ministers in the country.
According to Juju, most South African ministers were appointed by billionaire Rupert and other ‘marketers’. He satirically called on these ‘marketers’ to join politics fully rather than acting like backroom boys.
