Reports have it that the Minister of Police Nathi Nhleko, is in a very big problem following an allegation involving his girlfriend Nomcebo Mthembu to the tune of over R30 Million.

Its been revealed that he paid over R30 million to his girlfriend for service which officials are saying could have been done for free. The DA is said to be gearing up to file a formal charge against the minister in terms of section 4 of the Executive Ethics Act.

“Cabinet members, Deputy Ministers and MECs from…exposing themselves to any situation involving the risk of a conflict between their official responsibilities and their private interests; (iv) using their position or any information entrusted to them, to enrich themselves or improperly benefit any other person; and (v) acting in a way that may compromise the credibility or integrity of their office or of the government.”

According to City Press who reportedly obtained two documents detailing the cost breakdowns and series of email related to the over R30 million deal from officials in the police ministry.
