Democratic Alliance leader Mmusi Maimane on Tuesday laid criminal charges against Pres. Zuma at the Rosebank Police Station.
The DA said that it will use evidence from the State of Capture report.
“The DA will make sure Jacob Zuma, and all those who aid and abet him, are held accountable for their flagrant abuse of power to make themselves rich – at the expense of the poor and the jobless,” Maimane said, urging the police to investigate the matter.
“We contend that the State Capture Report, provides extensive prima facie evidence of corruption,” Maimane said.
“We will make sure Zuma and all those who aid and abet him, are held accountable for their abuse of power to make themselves rich,” he said.
The DA tweeted a copy of Maimane’s affidavit.
“The DA will unravel Jacob Zuma’s criminal network by using all political, legal and parliamentary channels.
“President Zuma and his cabal must be held responsible for undermining the integrity of the State, through his illegal programme of State Capture,” Maimane stated.
