While appearing before Parliament’s inquiry into the SABC board, the  Communications Minister Faith Muthambi was asked several question regarding the SABC issue currently rocking the board.

Among those questions was one from The Democratic Alliance’s Phumzile Van Damme, who asked her if Motsoeneng had bought her a home in Thohouyandou.

At first she was ignorant to answer the question until the Committee chairperson Vincent Smith reminded her to answer the question: “You were asked a question. Did Mr Motsoeneng buy you a house?”

She responded by saying: “Where? These are serious and malicious accusations, because I don’t have a new house.”
