Here comes a must read open letter from a 23-year-old Law student to Deputy Police Minister Mr Bongani Mkongi.
The letter exposes Illegal shooting and false promises by Deputy Minister Of police.

”It was on the 17th of may this year when Mr Mkongi promised to call me and do follow up on my case after I was brutally shot down by the fidelity security at Walter sisulu university in Mthatha.

Now my left side ear is condemned and still paining even near jaw joints it’s hard for me when I consume food.

Mr Mkongi recorded me down after I stood up in that gathering that was to honour the deceased final medical student who was killed over seniority argument. I had to attend the gathering on bases that I’m the president of the faculty of administration and Law.

As it was said that all stakeholder representatives must be part of the meeting even the university management was there with the vice chancellor Prof Rob Midgley and the whole Src of the Campus.

When I tried to channel this through management of the school i was suppressed no one availed, now I spend much of my parents money going for different therapies.

Mr Mkongi urged that he came to listen to our grievances and also to mourn the passing of Lwando Mantshontsho but instead it seemed as if he was there to back the ANC out of it corruption and to campaign.

As I type this story I’m in pain and tears, most flabbergasting part is that even mthatha police seem not to care about this incident.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you Police Minister Fikile Mbalula, his deputy and the Mthatha police station.

Thank you.

Regards, GONIWE EMIHLE.

WALTER SISULU STUDENT, CURRENT PRESIDENT OF THE FACULTY OF ADMINISTRATION AND LAW.
