A highly powered presidential meeting between The Confederation Of African Football (CAF) President Issa Hayatou in company with his delegation and President Jacob Zuma has been convened at the Presidential guest house in Pretoria.
Hinnewssa gathered that Hayatou on Saturday paid what is described as a courtesy visit to President Jacob Zuma.
Accompanied by South African Football Association President Danny Jordaan, the two arrived at the official presidential guest house in Pretoria a short while ago.
Hayatou and the entire CAF executive are in the country this weekend to attend Saturday evening’s Super Cup match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Congolese side TP Mazembe.
This ahead next week’s scheduled FIFA summit to be held in Johannesburg.
This will be New FIFA President Giovani Infantino’s first visit to South Africa since taking over from Sepp Blatter late last year.
