We reported yesterday that a new recruit according the Tshwane metro police shot and killed a father of two who was on his way to work yesterday.
Trouble started when the deceased refused to stop at a checkpoint outside the Hatfield Gautrain Station in Pretoria. According to an eyewitness, his car had stalled when the officer came to the windscreen and shot the man.
The officer is said to be charged with murder and if guilty may end up in prison.
“The officer was arrested and booked. Internally we will investigate as to what happened.”
