According to a report by Netwerk24, a man in Pretoria is in serious trouble after he helped his friend dump what seemed like a rubbish only to realise was what he thought.
the man upon realising that what was inside wasn’t rubbish after all, but his friends landlord, called the police and upon their arrival the dug up the shallow grave only to find the body of a 61 year old man who goes by the name of Chelly Lekalakala in the bushes in Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria.
Suspects includes Lekalakala’s wife ( The landlords Wife) and their tenant are suspected of killing him. The victim’s neighbor said that the last time he saw him was back in December 30th last year. The neighbor who identified himself as Motaung said Lekalakala had suspected his wife of having an affair with the tenant and when he confronted them, he was beaten.
Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela said a friend of the tenant’s informed police on Wednesday evening that he possibly knew where Lekalakala was.
“The lover asked him on December 31 to help him and his friend, Lekalakala’s wife, dump some rubbish. They had planned to dump it in a river somewhere, but the bushes were too dense and they left the zinc bath with the ‘rubbish’ in there.
“He thought nothing of it and on New Year’s Day, they buried the ‘rubbish’.”
Lekalakala’s wife and her lover were arrested on January 19, the friend who helped them to dump the rubbish will also be investigated to be sure he wasn’t involved.
