Schools have just started across the country and while some kids a crying, some are actually happy to be back to school and some celebrating it in a little crazy way.

Durban grade 7 learner celebrated his own back to school with a ride on a red Ferrari and a marching band  and not forgetting cheerleader to go along with him as he arrives school.

The student who was identified as Olwethu Zikhali of Phoenix in Durban, was so excited that he was pictured waving at people as he made his way to school;

“I’m going to have the best year‚” he said‚ adding that he always dreamed about travelling in a fancy car. “I have seen Ferraris on the road but I didn’t think I would ever go to school in one.”

Some of you might be wondering how he was able to afford the whole thing. Well he was the winner of the  Freedom Stationery’s First Fab Day Back to School competition and as a result of that was awarded school fees for the entire 2017 academic year ,a new school uniform‚ a Marlin stationery hamper and a Marlin bag of goodies for each of his classmates

His mother, Phumzile Masuko seems more happy than him as the award enabled her a little financial freedom;

“I struggled throughout 2016 as a single parent to take good care of him and his brother who is at university. I even sold my car to make things work. This is a blessing.”
