Things went south in Clermont, Durban after a husband allegedly shoots his wife and them turns the gun on himself and pulled the trigger.

According to KwaDabeka police spokesperson Captain Mazwi Mbatha said that from the information they received, police were informed that there was a shooting incident at a butchery along Zazi Road.

“On arrival, they found the couple who were both shot in the mouth. The man was found on the driver’s seat with a gun in his hand and his wife was sitting on the passenger seat.

“Two cartridges were found at the scene. The motive of the killing is unknown at this stage, but it is suspected that the couple had an argument which led to the man shooting his wife and turning the gun on himself,” said Mbatha.
