According to IOL, three men have been arrested following the kidnap of a Bangladeshi businessman Mustapha Goolam in Khayelitsha after they  demanded R10 million for his safe return

He was abducted outside of his shop, Food Town, located between Zeekoe Road and 5th Avenue, Lotus River, on Sunday night while locking up.

The man has been rescued and is well according to Hanif Loonat, Cluster Chairperson of the Mitchells Plain Community Policing Forum.

“Mustapha has been found alive, we have arrested three people,” he said.
