A 15-year-old girl accused the 47-year-old police officer of raping her on August 30.
She had been at the police station after an altercation with her family.
Her parents had asked the police to take her to the station for her to calm down.
She was directed to the trauma room and was allegedly attacked and raped at 21:30.
The girl was collected from the station by her mother and stepfather the next day and the incident was reported after she confided in her parents later that day.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate is also probing the incident.
