George Lebese was born 3 February 1989. He is a South African international footballer who plays professionally for Mamelodi Sundowns, as a left winger.

Born in Mamelodi, Lebese spent his early career with Jusben, Khona Lapho and Arcadia Shepherds.

Lebese joined Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2008–09 season.

He joined Hometown Club Mamelodi Sundowns on 10th August 2017 ahead of the 2017/18 Season.

He received his first call-up to the South African national team in November 2011, making his international debut against Ivory Coast on 11 November 2011.

Since Lebese left Kaizer Chiefs, he has been making some shocking revelations about the club and head coach Steve Komphela.

In a recent interview, Lebese exposed how Komphela banned Kaizer Chiefs players from having sex after midnight.

Lebese after completing his high rated transfer from Amakhosi to African Champions Mamelodi Sundowns, he has revealed a lot of things about Chiefs.

However, Lebese believe he is a great player and thinks if he remain in Kaizer Chiefs, he would be hiding under the shadows of Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Lebese believes he would do better in his new club Mamelodi Sundowns than when in Kaizer Chiefs.

” Tshabalala is always the best player in South Africa for you once you are contracted to Kaizer Chiefs,” said Lebese.
