South African TV presenter Minnie Dlamini has finally spoken out about her love life with Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.

She said that hopefully, she won’t be asked this question anymore as she has moved on with her life.

In an interview with True Love magazine Minnie revealed that her break up with the soccer star left her deeply hurt.

“I won’t lie, I really didn’t want to talk about it, but I need to stop acting like it didn’t happen. It happened and it hurt me tremendously. I am completely broken as a result. I have no regrets,” she is quoted as saying.

She added that she put her all in the relationship, but alas things didn’t work out.

“If there is one thing I know I did perfectly in my life…it was my previous relationship. It’s just that sometimes things don’t go according to plan and you know you can’t control someone else’s feelings and that’s really what it boils down to,” she stated.

Few years ago, it was reported that the soccer player had paid R1 million lobola for her.

Speaking on Metro FM breakfast show on friday morning, the gorgeous TV presenter set the record straight once more.

“I was never, ever, ever, ever ‘lobolad’ by a soccer player in my life. It never happened. So, we can lay that to rest, please guys, it did not happen.   The first time I got ‘lobolad’ was now, and I’m getting married now,” she said.

Minnie also added that that’s the craziest thing that she’s read about herself.

When asked if there’s anything she could have done anything differently in that relationship, Minnie said no. “I just wish I woke up sooner, that’s all,” she added.

Right now the starlet is preparing for the biggest day of her life – her wedding. Minnie, who hosts Home Ground on Mzansi Magic, got engaged in December 2016.

DJ Fresh asked if she’s going to have a double-barrel surname, and Minnie made it clear that it’s going to be Dlamini “till I die”. She explained that Dlamini will be kept for branding purposes. However, Minnie will legally change her surname to her husband’s.

“Minnie Dlamini will no longer exist legally.”

Sunday World had reported that the presenter dumped Kaizer Chiefs captain after discovering that Khune was with a Vanessa Masilo.

“My focus has been my growth within the world of sport and my exciting new summer ventures not about a man who is always a jerk in bed,” she said.

An online tabloid once claimed that Khune ‘warned’ Cassper to ‘stay away’ from Minnie because she ‘gave him an STD’
