Steve Komphela and Kaizer Chiefs crashed out of the MTN8 after suffering a 1-0 loss to SuperSport United.
Jeremy Brockie scored in the sixth minute and the game ended like that.
Chiefs struggled to settle in the early stages but they went close to equalising in the 22nd minute when Siphiwe Tshabalala’s effort deflected onto the upright.
The likes Tshabalala, Parker and Hendrick Ekstein all did their best to salvage a draw.
Eric Tinkler’s side managed to hold on till the final whistle.
Bhongolwethu Jayiya made his official Chiefs debut, replacing Bernard Parker in the 82nd minute.
Williams and the SuperSport defence were solid as Chiefs crash out at the first hurdle.
Minister of Police, also the former Minister of Sports and Recreation, Fikile Mbalula took to social media to attack Steve Komphela and Kaizer Chiefs Players.
