Academic institutions across South Africa opened their doors once again for serious academic work, in a bid to forestall future disruption.

Although an interim report from the fees commission was submitted to the South African President, some of the protesters are still facing charges ranging from inciting public violence to destruction of property.

Nonetheless, the Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande is optimistic that there wont be any more disruption of schools in South Africa as government gives a lot of premium to Education in the country.
